I am trying to print and cut from cricut design space and the printer is not centering what it needs to print. When using regular letter paper only then the printer prints properly. The top line of the borders in order for my machine to cut sticker is all the way to the top therefore my cricut cannot read it.

Hi @Karlitarey,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to assist you.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with printing on stickers from your printer.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I'm here to help you today.
Here are a few troubleshooting steps to help resolve this:
Check Printer Settings:
- Ensure that the paper size in your printer settings matches the size you’re using in Cricut Design Space (usually 8.5 x 11 inches).
- In the printer settings, set the paper type to "Matte" or "Photo Paper" if you're using sticker paper, as this can sometimes affect alignment.
Cricut Design Space Settings:
- Make sure that the size of your canvas in Design Space matches the actual size of your printed material.
- Double-check the "Print Then Cut" settings and ensure that you’ve selected the correct dimensions for your project.
Test Print:
- Do a test print on regular paper to see if the alignment issue persists. If it prints correctly on regular paper but not on sticker paper, the type of paper or how it's being loaded could be the issue.
Margins:
- Sometimes, printers have a minimum margin that can affect where the printout begins. Check your printer’s manual for details on margins and ensure your design accounts for this.
Update Drivers:
- Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware.
Restart Devices:
- Restart both your printer and your Cricut Maker. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve unexpected issues.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day
