HP DESKJET 2130
macOS 10.14 Mojave

Hi all,

So I have a deskjet printer, when I try to print through my MacBook I get nothing. The MacBook shows that the printer is connected and if I pause the printing it tells me that there is a document in the queue when I resume it I get nothing printed and the queue gets empty.

@MYNA_Ashi,

Thank you for reaching out to the HP Support community!

What is the model of your printer?

How is the printer connected? Wired or Wireless?

Are you able to make copies from the printer?

What are the ink levels on the cartridges?

Let's try these steps:

Step 1: Clear the Print Queue

  • Go to the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences

  • Click Printers & Scanners or Print & Scan
  • Select the Printer and click on 'Open Print Queue'

  • Click on thehttps://lithium-response-prod.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/hpcsc.response.lithium.com/RESPONSEIMAGE/bec18ab7-41a4-40d8-83ed-6880360bcfb6.default.jpg button to cancel the print jobs that are stuck in the queue.
  • Try to print the documents again.
  • If the issue persists, proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Remove and re-add the printer

Remove and add the Printer driver

  • Click Printers & Scanners or Print & Scan.
  • If your printer is listed, click the name of your printer, then click the minus signhttps://support.hp.com/doc-images/161/c01861703.gif to delete the printer.
