@Dharma143, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If you are experiencing setup issues with the HP Smart Tank 515 Wireless All-in-One printer, here are some steps to help you resolve them:

Check Connectivity Options: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your network. The HP Smart Tank 515 supports Hi-Speed USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth LE for connectivity. Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled and the printer is connected to your network.

Use the HP Smart App: The HP Smart app can assist in setting up your printer. Ensure you have the app installed on your device and follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer.

Perform Hardware Check: Confirm that the printer is correctly set up following the unpacking and hardware installation instructions that came with it. Make sure all ink bottles are installed properly, and the printer has paper loaded.

Update Printer Firmware: Check for any available firmware updates for the printer, which can be done using the HP Smart app or directly via the printer's control panel.

Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting both your printer and the device you are using can resolve connectivity issues. Power off the printer, and then turn it back on.

Network Troubleshooting: If your printer isn’t connecting to Wi-Fi, check your router settings or restart your router. Ensure that the network isn’t hiding its SSID as this can affect wireless setup.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
