HP 8500 A909g
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP sent an update for my A909g printer but then tells me there's no Internet connection... I do have Internet connection but the printer is hardwired to computer.
What do I do?

I had the same problem about a month ago. On my settings, it said Internet was not available, but my cable and modem (WiFi) indicated I had no access. I had to have the Spectrum technician come out and find out what was wrong. He came out and, in 15 minutes, discovered that the cable from the wall to the modem was bad. He replaced the cable and everything worked! I've been connected to the Internet ever since, and my printer is happily printing when I need it to and I got a bunch of updates from when I was not connected.

 

Cables can go bad in the blink of an eye. I have no idea if this will help you as I have little tech experience since DOS, but it was a frustrating several days for me. Sometimes, the easiest solution is the last to consider.
