I spent a while with Apple Support, Something this morning (10/23/20) broke the HP printing drivers framework on Catalina OS 10.15.7. They have received many calls with different items related to HP informing it will damage your computer, My printer does not print. I have a Laserjet 4200 with all kinds of options (envelop feeder, etc.) It is a vicious circle - Apple says to call HP as they need to provide the drivers, I have not been able to speak to anyone at HP that can help.
The errors are like this:
"hpPostProcessing.bundle" Will damage your computer. Report Malware to Apple
others with the same error
"ProductImprovementStudy.hptask"
ScanEventHandler.app"
"HPDeviceMonitoring.framework"
"FaxArchive.task"
This seems to be affecting many older HP printer of multiple series.
Anyone else? Anyone had found a workaround.
We have many Laserjets of the 4100, 4200 & 4300 series. They are workhorses. I can'r believe they will just brake them....

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I have an "HP Laser Jet P2015dn.
Error message is same as yours: "hpPostProcessing. bundle will damage your computer. Report Malware to Apple"
Got another similar error message with file name "fax.backend".
Print does not respond at all.
Scanned disk for malware, but comes up clean every time. Have tried everything I can find to repair with no luck.
If this only affects older HP computers, I'm going to be very suspicious about purchasing an HP printer going forward.
Please share any remedies.

If anyone has a work-around it would be a great relief to me and I'm sure many others. Thanks!

Sadly I can't make this work. Installed stand ran it three times. It first appears to work but then the printer logo simply disappears from my desktop and nothing is printed! Oh and first I reset the printing system.
