HP Recommended

I'm logged into my Microsoft account, but there are no devices appearing under "devices".  When I attempt to manually add my computer's serial number, Microsoft states that the serial number is invalid and I cannot add my personal home pc.  On this HP support page, it is not recognizing my device either.  I had to manually enter the Product ID as "a device I'm not on", which is not true as I am currently using it.

 

I have been hacked and the control of my devices has been elsewhere, but how could they have wiped my serial number out of the system?  Again, this is a personal hp intel Core i7 10th Gen.
