HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer

I’m honestly exhausted by my experience with the HP DeskJet 2755e.

A printer should make life easier. Instead, HP has made a basic task—printing or scanning a document—feel unnecessarily stressful and difficult. Every time I open the HP app to use my own printer, I am met with HP+ and Instant Ink promotions. I am not opening the app to shop for a subscription or sign up for monthly ink deliveries. I am opening it because I need to print, scan, or solve a problem.

It feels like HP has designed the whole experience to pressure customers into subscriptions instead of giving us a simple, clear tool to manage the printer we already paid for. The constant offers are exhausting, especially when I am already trying to deal with a printer problem.

Now, the situation has become even more frustrating. I bought an original HP 67 Black/Tri-Color 2-Pack (3YP29AN), specifically because HP says it is compatible with the DeskJet 2755e. I had previously used an original HP 67 Black cartridge (3YM56AN) in the exact same printer without any issue. Yet the black cartridge from this new HP kit is not accepted by the printer.

This makes no sense. I bought a genuine HP product, for an HP printer, from the exact cartridge family HP recommends—and it does not work.

Instead of making printing simple, HP has made my life harder: confusing software, nonstop subscription pressure, and now a genuine compatible cartridge that my printer rejects. I should not have to waste hours trying to understand whether the problem is the cartridge, the printer, the app, the firmware, or another restriction that was never made clear.

Please explain why my DeskJet 2755e is rejecting this original HP 67 cartridge and provide a replacement or refund. It is unacceptable for a customer to be treated this way after buying the exact product HP says will work.
And now I am having to spend even more time coming to this community just to explain a problem that should never have happened in the first place.
