Hi

 

I seem to have lost the "hp scan" application, and the 'hp print and scan doctor' agrees.   where can I obtain this utility?  I tried re-installing the latest full-features sw/driver download, which claims that it will install "hp scan" but I see no evidence of it.  what am I overlooking?  

 

this is about the laserjet pro 200 mfp m276n

Hi,

Please download and install the HP Scan Extended program, are you able to scan via HP Scan Extended then?

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi 


Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended".

Thank-you thats a nice utility.  It turns out that on the fourth attempt of re-installing the full-featured driver,   I now have the "HP Scan" utility as well now.  

 

so all good!  

 

is the  extended scan a feature superset of the "HP Scan" shipped with the driver download?
