HP scanjet 5590

Hello HP Support Team,

I would like to know if the HP ScanJet 5590 scanner supports the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) functionality on a Windows 10 operating system. Could you please confirm whether this feature works properly and, if necessary, provide guidance on installing the correct drivers?

Hi @AdilRV 

Probably it could not work on Windows 10, this is a Scanner from 2004, but you can try with the next software.

Download the next software to install HP Scan:

>> HP Scan software for Scanjet systems - Windows

Then search for HP Scan on you computer and open to check if the Scanjet 5590 is detected and can work.

You may need to select in Document Source - Document Feeder

 Thank you very much for your response. However, I have tested it using the HP Scan software, and it is unable to detect the HP ScanJet 5590.

Ok, if that doesn´t work first check your USB connection cable, if there is possible please change for another USB cable.

1. Then try with the next software:

>> https://ftp.hp.com/setup_HPTwain_5000s2_1-8.exe

2. And also the next:

>> https://ftp.hp.com/setup_basic_5000s2.exe

3. Then use the Windows system Scanner and Fax application:
