I am in total agreement.  When needed I have no choice but look for a different printer.  HP will also lose me as a cartridge customer,  Big deal I’m only one…..

I have tried HP support, and they were not helpful.  It seems like I should just switch to a different printer and leave HP. I love my surface pro systems.  However, the printer is a cheaper replacement then a new laptop,

I have the same issue on an HP Laptop with Windows 10 and a Surface Pro with Windows 11.  No how can there be the same issue with devices that are so different apart.   these devices were working fine up until about 8 months ago and I no longer get the App to  run. All other options did not work. unfortunately I have to resort to using the Web-Based Scanning direction to gain access to my printer.
