Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Have you tried using the HP FULL software solution? What's the printer model?

Thanks.

Thank you for replying😊. It’s a hp 2724 all in one. I used the virtual agent and went through a long scary process and it is installed but now I’m using the the hp print/scan doctor cause I got a “failed to communicate” message. I’ve turned the router off and back on already but should I do it again?

Hi @Shellyh66

Try the HP FULL software solution.

Download and Install from this link:

https://support.hp.com/sg-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-2700-all-in-one-printer-series/29378157/...

(it works for Win 10)

Check out this resource that shows you how to do it:

Hope that helps!
