HP smart app

dear hp smart app developers,
While I haven't run into any technical problems with the app yet, my issue is that you haven't included a function that allows me to create a desktop shortcut for your app! Previously, I had all HP's icons as short-cuts on my desktop, now HP's got NOTHING on my desktop 😞

Yeh, you've made it so I can pin it to my taskbar; but what you don't seem to appreciate is that my taskbar is for MY use, not yours to park the app on, taking up valuable taskbar real-estate just sitting there until I choose to use it! And please be assured, I wont be using your smart app to log into my emails or any other app I might use daily! All my other programs/apps work just fine without being entangled with HP's smart app! 
I mainly use your app in connection with my laptop. I know I can also print from my phone...but I rarely do this.
FYI, with all my other apps, I'm able to create desktop shortcuts. If apps make it onto my desktop, it's because I value them and they're important to me. The ONLY app I actually have on my taskbar is the one to the browser I use...that's it!
Every windows icon is also minimised!
So I'm asking the app techs to add a 'create a desktop shortcut' function to the HP smart app.
Until that happens, the HP smart app will be relegated to one of the apps in the windows menu.

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

To create a shortcut for HP Smart on your desktop:

Right-click the Start button and search for HP Smart.

Right-click the HP Smart app and choose More > Open file location (if possible).

If you can't find it, follow the next step.

Press Windows + R, type shell:AppsFolder, and press Enter.

Find HP Smart, right-click it, and select Create shortcut.

Now you should have a shortcut on your desktop!

If you want to remove it from the taskbar:

Right-click the HP Smart icon on your taskbar.

Select Unpin from taskbar.

For other issues:

Update HP Smart: Go to Microsoft Store > Library > Update.

Reinstall: Go to Settings > Apps > HP Smart > Uninstall, then reinstall from the Microsoft Store.
