Why has everything been made impossible with this help-applications. Why is there no drivers to install as before? And I can't find an e-mail address to HP to make complaints. I have been using HP since 840c but won't buy it again though they are impossible to install and stops working after five years. >I

Totally agree with you. I have just bought a HP Desk Jet 2722e, and oh how I hadnt How can one line of instructions explain how to install the dam thing.  Bought it Monday 4th July, and although it's installed, At least I think it's installed, was done by an HP technician but there is nothing in my PC to say it is. I still can't get to print anything. I wanted to use it like my other HP printer  with a USB lead, according to the advert you could but no it won't Spent two days attempting to find  a UK Number to make a complaint the one starting 02 no good, same with the email given DOES NOT WORK. Neither do I like the fact that if you use a different link to install than the HP123 even though its still an HP one It lets you get so far then informs you if you carry on  with it you will lose the 6months free ink etc. then it leaves you with a blank screen. I don't understand any of the jargon involved so I am stuck  with a printer I can't use My previous HP printer had an installation disk which I have lost. Thus can't use that one either.

HP Deskjet 840c Printer driver for windows 10 is not available from the HP website. However, you can install the printer using windows built-in drivers.

I understand you are unable to print 

 

To assist better -

  1. What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android or an iPhone? 
  2. Are you able to make copies using the printer?
  3. How is the printer connected to the device USB or wireless?
  4.  What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?
