Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I called HP support as I wanted to re-enrol on the instant ink. The person asked to take control of my pc to resolve the issue. Whilst on there, they seem to do things slowly and wait, almost as if they are doing some other things in the background, possibly hacking or taking my data. So I took back permission and closed everything. Have I been hacked/scammed? - has the person taken my information and will send it to other persons outside of hp?
