Hoping someone can help - I'm trying to connect my 2130 to my mac.
I've downloaded the "easy start" app, and when running this it finds the 2130 which is connected via USB.
However it the tries to get the "recommended software" it doesn't find any, and then advises to go to the HP Website, from there it then sends me to drivers and software page which tells me to download the "easy start" app and then we go round in the loop again....

Hi @DaveEade
1. Please download and install HP Printer drivers for MacOS from the next link:
2. And go to System Preferences > Printers then Add the printer.

Hi, I follwed the steps - I can get the printer in the list of printers, but what I wanted was the HP application so i can use the scanning features - this does not seem to work.
Also when I try and print from the "system preferences" / ~~"Printers" nothin happens

Hi @DaveEade
1. Just check that USB cable has good connection between printer and your Mac.
- Maybe you could try to disconnect USB cable for 1 minute and connect back again.
2. And about the Scanner, check the basic functionality by opening Scan tab on Printer Preferences.
3. And about Mac drivers, updates are always on Apple side because they always want to keep control of software running in their Mac systems.
4. You can try another driver update in Apple link >> https://support.apple.com/en-gb/106385
