HP3762
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have multiple problems, Since a Windows update in July, I have been unable to print. So, I purchased a new HP3762 all in one printer but HP will not accept the serial number which is [Personal Information Removed].

HP Smart seems to  load normally but while it installs the SCAN driver there is no PRINT driver. Hense the unit is completely useless. Nowhere seems to have a standalone PRINT driver.

The Repair Doctor is useless  afetr a good while it sends a print saying its fixed UPDATE COMPLETED, however it is exactly the same.

This issue has gone on long enough. I cannot get proper support

My Laptop is a HP Pavillion with Intel Core15 7th Gen

If I mail a document to my iPad, or Android phone, it printes perfectly SCAN also works OK.

Perhaps this is just a scam to never use my free ink allowance 🙂

Tried again, here are the messages. I fear that there is something fundamentally wrong with this intallation process. Everything looks normal but whatever I do, in Control Panel is always reports - Driver not available. I have captued the screen prints this time.

Again, this simply will not load. It even insisted that I install via USB but could not estabish the WiFi connection that has bee present for over 1-month.

I have tried to do a Driver Update, but no matter where I point it, there never seems to be a driver available. If I look in device manager, then it only shows that I have a SCAN driver

There seems to be something fundamentally wrong here. Last week an adviser from Microsoft worked on it for 3-hours, without success.

The only time that I got something useable was when I deleted any Windows updates post mid-July. It worked perfectly until Windows reinstalled the updates, and then stopped.

Thank you to those in the community who have offered help.

I believe that I now need to contact someone from HP Directly.

Does anyone know how to achieve this? One complication is that I live in France byt by technical French is not sufficient to CHAT or speak with someone.?
