I've had an issue with setting up this printer. First occurred with my MacBook Air on OSX11.? Now upgraded to MacBook Pro on OSX 12.? and it continues to be an issue. Downloaded EasyPrint and it hangs on Preparing for Device Set-Up.
Able to print a test page, but when trying to print a document from browser or other application I get the error in the Printer Utility that says:
Some of the software for the printer is missing.
I've tried downloading EasyAdmin and using that software but that also doesn't work.
Please help. I'm stuck.
Thanks!

Well, I didn't find this solution anywhere...but in case this helps anyone else, the solution was very simple. From the printer, I needed to update the printer software. Once that was done everything worked fine. It sure would be nice if the printer either auto updated or at least told me an update was available.
Good luck!
