Sorry, I found the Printer properties (translation problem)

It is as you said Uninstalled  but I cant change it.

If I change the Automatic  Configuration to Activated, it changes the recto-verso option to Activated.

But it is not changed when I confirm it (Apply ?)

Apparently I dont have the rights to this printer.

How can  run the Settings as an administrator ?

Sorry again for the misunderstanding.

Here is what your printer's instructions say for the front/back:

Hello, that's the screen I get after following your proposal.

When I dis step 3 I got the same screen as in my 4th message ; Impression recto verso manuelle

PS. Your link got a french version inside.

Wouldnt it be better to remove all the printers defined and reinstall them ?

There is a proposal at the end of HP Print & Scan Doctor procedure.

According to what I read in the instructions for your printer, to print recto/verso automatically, you must purchase an optional module.

Hi Bernard42,

You forgot that I wrote, in my initial post,

"I have a HP4528 which works perfectly via USB".

Recto OK.JPG

It used to work via Wifi.

I got the problem after a Windows Update, but cant tell you which.

HP Recommended

You would just need to uninstall this update for automatic duplexing to work again.

As I told you I dont know which Windows Update it was. Can be 1 year ago or more because I dont print via wifi every day.

What do you think of my suggestion :

No, if you do not know which update is in question, do not uninstall anything, you may have problems operating Windows. Because you will have new files that will not work.

The only thing that is possible is to uninstall the old printer driver, via Programs and Features, delete all the names of your printer, in ProgramFiles and programX86.
In the control panel, click on Devices and Printers, right click on your printer, delete. (It may no longer be there, in which case continue the procedure) Download and install the new full HP driver. (On the HP website). Restart the PC after the installation is complete. If the new HP driver is complete, it should work.

Many thanks for your help.
