Microsoft Windows 11

I've had this printer for several years. I don't remember it coming with a install disk. I have a new computer and I need to install this printer to it. How or can I install it without a disc?

Thanks!

To install an HP OfficeJet 5252 All-in-One Printer on a new computer, you can follow these steps:

  1. Start by ensuring that your printer is powered on and connected to the same network as your computer.

  2. Go to: HP OfficeJet 5252 All-in-One Printer Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support, and install the HP smart App.
  3. Select your operating system from the drop-down menu, and if necessary, choose the correct version (32-bit or 64-bit) of your operating system.

  4. Look for the driver or software package labeled "Full Feature Software and Drivers" or a similar option. This package contains all the necessary software to install and use your printer.

  5. Click on the "Download" button to start the download process. Save the file to a location on your computer where you can easily access it.

  6. Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded file and double-click on it to run the installation.

  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the HP OfficeJet 5252 printer software. This typically involves accepting the license agreement, choosing the installation type (recommended or custom), and selecting the connection type (usually wireless or USB).

  8. If prompted, select the wireless network name (SSID) that your printer is connected to.

  9. Complete the installation by following any additional prompts or instructions.

  10. Once the installation is finished, you should be able to print and scan from your new computer using the HP OfficeJet 5252 All-in-One Printer.

Hope this was helpful.
