Hi, for the last 3 months I have been having an issue with my printer - it was working perfectly up until HP released their last update - now it gets into a permanent cycle of trying to update - failing, pressing restart, I end up closing down the printer and restarting it and then go through the Dr and it tells me to update a driver but when I click on the link I get this -

I am not against a good marketing idea, but to deliberately sabotage your own products is surely a bit risky

I see that you are facing printer issues.

 

Request you to update printer firmware. Kindly refer to the steps on this link and let me know if that fixes the issue.

Hi, your first fix option is not working as the printer will not stay online as it is continues to go into the downloading cycle but fails every time and goes offline

 

When I try to download on my laptop it also just hangs on "check now" and doesn't download anything.

 

Option 2 has downloaded the App - which I already have and use and Scan Dr which I already have and doesn't fix it

 

Option 3 has reset my printers settings and now I cannot print anything as it does not recognise the ink cartridges even though I get them from HP Ink

 

I have now purchased a Brother Printer and will be cancelling my HP Ink Subscription
