Windows 11 version 21H2 22000.194

When trying to load HPEasyStart-13.0.6-OJP9010_49_9_4593_1_Webpack on new installation of Windows 11, the installation halts with a circling indicator at "Checking Your Software Needs". I tried deleting printer and all drivers and reloading with no success. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Edits - Correct the link to the "Easy Start home page"

You need to use the newer version of the Easy Start Software wrapper for Windows 11.

Look for it here:

Category Software and drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 All-in-One Printer

Section: Installation Software and Full/Basic Driver-Supports print and scan functionality only

At this writing the new version = 13.4.8

Operating Systems:
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Microsoft Windows 11 All Editions (64-bit)

OR

The newest version of Easy Start is always available at the HP Easy Start - Home Page

Open category  Software, Drivers and Firmware

Topic Software-Utility

When the option is presented, select to Install the Full Driver.

Hi,

Please try following the suggestion above first to install the software using HP Easy Start and not the HP Easy Start Offline version.

If the same persists, let's try following below steps to install the HP Software:

Click the Start button and type %temp% into the search bar, then open the shown Temp folder.

Open the latest HP installation folder which begins with 7z (e.g. 7zs1234)
Open the Driver folder.

Note:if it doesn't have a Driver folder check the earlier folders by from the newer to the older one by order, you will see this in one of the latest folders

Right-click OJ901x64.msi and select Install, be sure to confirm any prompt.

Once completing the installation, click the HP Officejet Pro 9010 icon on your desktop and follow the steps on screen to connect the printer.

Regards,
Shlomi
