Product: HP LaserJet MFP M234sdwe Printer

My son is attempting to setup his new printer, HP LaserJetMFP M234sdwe at his college dorm.  We did setup the printer initially at home, all worked ok.  After setting up wifi (at home), he used the usb cable and printed to the printer.   now that he is off at college, he can't connect printer via  school wifi and it will not print using the usb cable (reports printer offline)   The HP Smart app doesn't seem to help any.  Any ideas to buypass wifi connection and print via usb.

It is not possible on that printer model. M234sdwe needs to be connected to the internet to be able to work, it doesn't work without an internet connection.
