I have an hp envy 5660 printer. I'm creating an adobe form. I have headers on each page so I know what each page does. I do not want to print the headers but can't find anyway to stop the headers from printing. Any advice?

Hi @katralic,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To prevent the headers from printing in Adobe Acrobat while using your HP Envy 5660 printer, you can try the following steps.

Remove Headers in Adobe Acrobat

  • Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat.
  • If the headers are part of the document (as text or images), you can remove them manually by editing the document:
    • Go to the Tools menu and choose Edit PDF.
    • Click on the header area to select it, and delete it.
  • If the headers are part of the form fields, you might need to open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro and remove or modify the form fields.

Adjust Printing Settings in Adobe Acrobat

  • When printing, you can adjust the settings to exclude headers:
    • Click on File > Print.
    • In the Print dialog, look for an option like "Page Sizing & Handling" and select "Fit" or "Actual size".
    • Check the "Preview" area to ensure that the headers are not displayed before printing.

Check Your Document’s Page Setup

  • In Adobe Acrobat, go to File > Page Setup.
  • Ensure that your margins are set up to avoid printing headers. This will depend on how your form was created, so check if any settings have added these headers.

Modify the Printer Settings (HP Envy 5660)

  • In the Print dialog in Adobe Acrobat, choose your HP Envy 5660 printer and click on Printer Properties.
  • Under the Layout or Paper/Quality tab, look for any settings that affect headers or page content and adjust them as necessary.

If these options don’t work and you're still seeing headers print, the problem might be with the way the form was created, requiring you to edit the form itself to remove the header content.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
