Hi @Tom5410,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Finding a printer driver for an older model like the HP J4680 All-In-One can be challenging. Here are a few steps and options you can consider.

HP Official Website (Legacy Drivers)

Sometimes, even if a model is no longer supported, HP may still have legacy drivers available for download. You can try:

  • HP Support Page: HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads
  • Search for "HP J4680" and see if there are any available drivers, even if they are for older operating systems.

Windows Built-In Drivers

Sometimes, Windows operating systems have built-in drivers that work with older printers.

  • Add a Printer: Go to "Devices and Printers" in the Control Panel, select "Add a Printer," and let Windows search for available drivers.
  • Windows Update: During the installation process, choose to search Windows Update for drivers.

Linux Compatibility

If you're using Linux, many printers have basic support built into the OS.

  • HPLIP (HP Linux Imaging and Printing): Check if your printer is supported by HPLIP HPLIP Website.

Steps to Download and Install Drivers:

  1. Download the Driver: From any of the above sources, download the appropriate driver for your operating system.
  2. Install the Driver: Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Connect the Printer: Make sure your printer is connected to your computer via USB or network.
  4. Test Print: Print a test page to ensure everything is working correctly.

Example Search on HP Website:

  1. Go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads.
  2. Enter "J4680" in the search box.
  3. Look for available drivers for older operating systems (e.g., Windows 7, Windows 8).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
