HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Due to HP Authorized Service Center inability to repair SOHO network MFP (HP Color LaserJet Pro M479fdw -by the way its less than 3 years old with little usage, go figure) error code "60.02.00", we found ourselves forced to replace said device with the same model for expediency sake.

Is there a way to avoid users on the network deleting the old MFP and reinstalling the new one on their computers even if both MFP are the same model? If so, how?

Here is what we did:

We copied the old MFP network IP address, and "Backup" Settings data via Embedded Web Server to default "usrdata.enc" file, turned it off, and physically removed from the network.

We then attached the new MFP (same model) to the network, "Restored" old MFP Settings data via Embedded Web Server onto the new MFP , and changed its IP address to match the previous device.

The new MFP appears to have all settings data and IP address the old  MFP did, yet users on the network are not able to print to existing printer installed on their Windows computer.

Thank you.
