Hi @Paulhaze30,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Verify Printer's Wi-Fi Status:
- Ensure that the blue Wi-Fi light on the printer is blinking. This indicates that the printer is in the Wireless Setup mode.
Reset the Printer's Network Settings:
- Before starting the setup, reset the network settings by turning off the printer and disconnecting the power cord. Reconnect after a few seconds and turn on the printer while holding the Wi-Fi button until the light starts blinking.
Connect Printer to Wi-Fi Network:
- Via HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart App on your mobile device or computer.
- Open the app and select "Set up a new printer."
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to the Wi-Fi network.
- Using WPS (if compatible):
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer. The blue light should blink while trying to connect and remain steady once connected.
Printer and Device on Same Network:
- Ensure your mobile device or computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network that you intend your printer to connect.
Install Printer Drivers:
- Download the latest printer drivers from the HP Support Page specific to the HP LaserJet P1102w.
- Install the drivers on your computer and follow the prompts to complete the connection.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues:
- Move the printer closer to the router to ensure a strong Wi-Fi signal.
- Restart the printer and router.
Print Network Configuration Page:
- To check the printer's connection status, press the Cancel button and hold it for a few seconds until the configuration page prints.
I hope this helps.
