Product: HP Laser MFP 135a
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Hi, I have a Mac mini , with high sierra 10.13….having real problems with my laser mfp135a…almost everytime I go to print it fails with non response…..I’ve replace the usb lead, and although I can see it does recognise there is a print there….it only very occasionally proceeds with the job in hand…I tried to download the hp smart app,  but it looks like non supported…is there an older version around.?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Try these:

 

Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

 

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
