I run my HP office jet pro 8024e printer via a USB cable which is my preference. For the last 12+ months the above driver Hewlett-Packard - USB - 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM - 49.0.4395.18315 will not load/install. Keeps coming up with "Install error - 0x80070103" and to retry.

 

I can still print fine but would like to clear this update one way or another, any advice.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if the info in the discussion at the link below resolves the problem.
