HP Recommended

Just taken delivery and setup a new MFP 4302fdw printer to replace an older MFP 479fdw.  All went well until I attempted to replicate what could be done on the older model - Home Screen Customisation via the EWS.

 

I have set various Quick Sets for easy scanning and on the previous model you could have the Quick Set menu on the Home Screen - I had this as the first icon on that screen for quick access.  There appears no way to do this on the new model.  Instead you have to select Menu, then scroll to utilities, then select Quick Sets, then the type of Quick Set before you eventually can select your configured quick sets.

 

Why has this functionality to customise the home screen been removed on newer models?  The fimrware is fully updated and I've set a secure password for admin access as I believe this was a requirement previously to have the Home Screen Customisation available on the EWS.  Seems to make the whole process of using Quick Sets harder and certainly a longer process than previously.
