I am thinking of getting an HP smart 720 or 750 printer.
1- Please can someone advise me if these printers can print a folded booklet?
2- Also what is the minimum lower margin when printing duplex or a booklet? Is it about 5mm? Some margin is needed so the paper can be drawn back into the printer to print the other side. The smaller the margin, the better.
Making A folded booklet involves printing 2 pages on each side of an A4 (4 pages per sheet) in the correct page order*.
So for example, if I want to print a 32 page booklet, the printer should print on 8 sheets of paper. When all the pages are collected and folded once down the middle and stapled, this will make the folded booklet.
What I don't need is to print a bound booklet. This involves a completely different page sequence and each page is folded individually and stacked on top of one another before binding.
Your advice would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Chris
* For example, the page number order for printing a 32 page booklet is usually 32,1,2,31,30,3,4,29,28,5,6,27,26,7,8,25,24,9,10,23,22,11,12,21,20,13,14,19,18,15,16,17

I am now answering my own post in case anyone else has a similar question. I purchased this printer yesterday and am very happy with it.
1- I can confirm that in the Windows PC printer driver there is a provision to print folded booklets in the layout section.
When printing a document from Windows (File/Print) , there are 2 printer drivers to choose. Both of them can print folded booklets.
A. "HP Smart tank 750" which uses the normal Windows driver
B. "HP Smart printer" which uses a different interface..
2- I can also confirm that the minimum margins of 3.3 mm are not affected by booklet or duplex printing. During booklet/duplex printing the margins stay the same. In my first test printing a folded booklet. The margins were 3.3 mm top, bottom, left and right. In the centre fold the gap was 6.6mm which is acceptable (3.3mm + 3.3mm)
I could not find any ways to print a folded booklet from my android phone using the HP smart app. The options appear to be limited. Maybe I will find a way in the future.
Kind regards
Chris
