Hi @revwong,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
To help speed up printing on your HP ENVY Inspire 7955e, here are some effective troubleshooting steps:
Change Print Quality Settings:
- Go to the print settings on your computer.
- Select Draft or Fast Draft mode instead of high-quality printing, as this uses less ink and prints faster.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Visit the HP Support Page to check for and install the latest firmware updates for your printer.
- Outdated firmware can slow down performance.
Reduce Print Job Complexity:
- Simplify the content being printed, such as reducing the resolution of images or using standard fonts and sizes.
Check Network Connection:
- If printing wirelessly, ensure the printer has a strong connection to your Wi-Fi network. A weak signal can cause delays.
- Consider moving the printer closer to the router or using a wired connection if possible.
Perform Regular Maintenance:
- Run the printer’s maintenance tools to clean and align the printhead.
- Ensure there are no paper jams or debris that could slow down printing.
Restart Devices:
- Restart both the printer and your computer to clear any temporary issues that could be affecting speed.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
