How do I print Avery Labels? Said to set print to labels but no printer setting for it

Welcome to the HP Community --

"Printer" might or  might not have a setting specific for Labels.

The settings for Tray and Paper are dependent on the printer model.

The way to access the Tray and Paper settings are also dependent on the printer model in the sense that printer control panels differ from one another as does the format used with the Embedded Web Server (EWS).

So -- a lot of typing to explain everything and everywhere this setting might be found for an unknown printer model

Assuming for the sake of the answer that the paper type Label setting is not actually needed,

Set your Paper Type to Plain Paper

Next,

Avery labels, for example, tend to come in a couple (few?) basic sizes, including Letter / A4 and 4x6 inches.

Set the Paper Size to the size of the label sheet
