Hi @RailroaderTwo,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I m sorry to hear that you need to change the default language from Chinese to English on your HP Smart Tank Series 7600 printer and can’t read the display, you can follow these general steps. This will help you navigate through the menu based on position and common setup paths rather than understanding the text:

Power On the Printer:

  • Ensure your printer is powered on.

Access the Settings Menu:

  • Press the Home button, if available, to go to the main menu.
  • Use the Arrow Buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) to navigate through the menu.

Navigate to Preferences:

  • Typically, the language settings are located in a section often labeled as Setup, Settings, or Preferences.
  • In many HP printers, this might be the first or second option, so use the Down Arrow and select it using the OK or Enter button.

Select Language Settings:

  • Navigate through the Setup/Preferences menu looking for an icon or item that resembles Language settings. It often has a globe icon or something similar.
  • This might be halfway or towards the end of the list.

Change the Language:

  • Once in the Language menu, the list will likely include options in Chinese followed by other languages. Use the Arrow Buttons to scroll.
  • Select English from the list and confirm your selection by pressing the OK or Enter button.

Confirm the Change:

  • Your printer may prompt for confirmation. Select the option on the right (often the default for confirming actions).

Take care and have an amazing day!
