Hi @ERG1154

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

To change the language on the touch screen of your HP OfficeJet Pro 8135e All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:

🌐 Steps to Change the Language on the Touchscreen

  1. Restart the Printer
    • Turn the printer off and then back on to refresh the interface.
  2. Access the Setup Menu
    • On the touchscreen, swipe left to reveal more icons.
    • Tap the gear icon (⚙️), which opens the Setup menu.
  3. Navigate to Preferences
    • Tap the first option that appears—this is usually Preferences, even if it’s in another language.
  4. Select Language
    • Look for the Language option—typically the first or second item in the Preferences menu.
    • Tap it, then scroll through the list and select your preferred language.
  5. Confirm Selection
  • The printer may ask you to confirm—tap Yes or the checkmark to apply the change.

If the touchscreen is completely unreadable or unresponsive, you can also change the language using the Embedded Web Server (EWS) from your computer:

  • Open a browser and enter your printer’s IP address.
  • Go to Settings > Preferences > International > Language.
  • Choose your language and click Apply.

Let me know if you need help finding the IP address or navigating the menus—I’ve got your back! 💪
