Hi @4Rod7,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

To connect your Samsung tablet to your HP ENVY Inspire 7255e All-In-One Printer, you can use the HP Smart app or the native printing capabilities of your tablet. Here's a step-by-step guide for both methods:

Method 1: Using the HP Smart App

Download and Install the HP Smart App:

  • Open the Google Play Store on your Samsung tablet.
  • Search for "HP Smart" and install the app.

Connect Your Printer to the Same Wi-Fi Network:

  • Ensure your HP ENVY Inspire 7255e printer is turned on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Samsung tablet.

Open the HP Smart App:

  • Launch the HP Smart app on your Samsung tablet.

Add Your Printer:

  • Tap the "+" sign or "Add Printer" button in the app.
  • The app will search for available printers. Select your HP ENVY Inspire 7255e printer from the list.

Complete the Setup:

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup and connect your printer to the app.

Print from Your Tablet:

  • Once the printer is added, you can use the HP Smart app to print documents, photos, and more from your Samsung tablet.

Kindly check the remaining steps in the next post.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi @4Rod7,

Kindly check the remaining steps below.

Method 2: Using Native Printing Capabilities

Ensure Your Printer and Tablet Are on the Same Network:

  • Make sure your HP ENVY Inspire 7255e printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Samsung tablet.

Enable Wi-Fi Direct (if not on the same network):

  • On the printer's control panel, go to the "Wireless" settings and enable "Wi-Fi Direct."
  • On your Samsung tablet, go to "Settings" > "Connections" > "Wi-Fi" and connect to the Wi-Fi Direct network of your printer (it should have a name like "DIRECT-XXXX-HP ENVY Inspire 7255e").

Open the Document or Photo You Want to Print:

  • Open the file or photo you want to print on your Samsung tablet.

Access the Print Option:

  • Tap the menu icon (usually three dots) in the app you are using (e.g., Gallery, Google Docs, etc.).
  • Select "Print" or "Share" and then "Print."

Select Your Printer:

  • In the print menu, select your HP ENVY Inspire 7255e printer from the list of available printers.

Print the Document or Photo:

  • Adjust any print settings if needed (such as number of copies, paper size, etc.).
  • Tap "Print" to send the document or photo to your printer.

Additional Tips

Ensure Both Devices Are Updated:

  • Make sure your Samsung tablet has the latest software updates installed.
  • Ensure your HP printer firmware is up to date.

Check Printer and Network Status:

  • Ensure the printer is online and connected to the network.
  • Verify that there are no network issues preventing communication between your devices.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully connect your Samsung tablet to your HP ENVY Inspire 7255e All-In-One Printer and print documents or photos seamlessly. If you encounter any issues, refer to the printer's user guide.
