Trying to set up a basic home wifi printer but it’s asking for a password.  How do I find the password?  I thought this would be easy, it’s the biggest headache, ever!  😩

If you are trying to connect the printer to your home WIFI, then you need the password programmed into your router. If default it is usually printed on a label on the router, or if it was changed the installer should have given it to you. It would be the same password you use to connect a computer or phone to the wifi.

If you are trying to use the WIFI direct feature of a printer then the default should be printed on a label on the printer or you can check on the screen as you should be able to view it if you look at network settings.

As you do not state your model, it is impossible to give you more directed instructions.

Thank you. It’s a Desktop 2720e.  I’ve tried to usual wifi password but it’s having none of it.  I thought it would be such a simple set up.  I’ll have to send it back and get a refund if it won’t connect.  I’ll try again tomorrow as I’ve already spent enough time on it today and I’m running out of patience, lol.
