HP D4160
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP D4160 and I need a way to get the HP Solution Center to work again. I know Flash Player is no longer supported and have searched community for solutions, but nothing seems to work. I need the Solution Center for checking ink levels and running diagnostics and I know that Flash Player support was discontinued recently - have always running in the background and forgot about it.

I have Windows 10 64 Bit and use Firefox.

Is there a way to re-install the last Flash Player 64 Bit version  and if so, where could I find it? I looked all over...

Is there a working and safe third party alternative that's compatible with HP printers?

Yes, try this Solution:

Install HP Scan Extended find here: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/
Download this file: HPScanExt.msi
Close all programs

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the msi.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
