My OfficeJet Pro 8035e is experiencing the known HP+ validation lockout issue.  The printer is stuck in the setup alignment step and cannot complete printing without internet.  When connected to the internet, it enters an endless ‘Validating Printer’ loop.  Recovery mode and NVRAM resets do not work.

Hi @KMelvin723,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you're experiencing issues with your HP Officejet Pro 8035e printer. For problems related to the HP+ validation lockout, here are a few steps you might consider to troubleshoot:

Check Internet Connection: Make sure that your internet connection is stable and that the printer is properly connected to your network. Weak or intermittent connectivity can cause validation loops.

Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for and install updates through the printer's control panel or by visiting the HP https://support.hp.com/us-en.

HP App: Use the HP app for better connectivity and setup. Ensure the app is updated to the latest version, and attempt the setup process using the app HP App – For HP Printers, Laptops, and Tech Accessories | HP® Official Site.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
