Hi @Chlenogub,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To install the HP Smart app on Windows Server 2019, follow these steps.
Download the HP Smart app:
- Visit the Microsoft Store.
- Click on the "Get" button to download the HP Smart app.
Install the app:
- Once the download is complete, open the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install the HP Smart app.
Launch the HP Smart app:
- After the installation is complete, you can launch the app from the Start menu or by searching for "HP Smart" in the Windows search bar.
Set up your printer:
- Follow the prompts in the HP Smart app to add your HP LaserJet Pro M428fdn printer. Ensure that the printer is connected to the same network as your server.
Note: The HP Smart app is primarily designed for client operating systems like Windows 10 and 11. If the Microsoft Store is not available on your Windows Server 2019, you may need to download the HP Smart app installer directly from the HP website.
Alternate Method (if the Microsoft Store is unavailable).
Download the HP Smart app from the HP website:
- Visit the HP Smart download page.
Choose your OS:
- Select Windows as your operating system and download the HP Smart app installer.
Install the app:
- Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install the HP Smart app.
Launch and set up your printer:
- Once installed, open the HP Smart app and follow the instructions to add and configure your HP LaserJet Pro M428fdn printer.
By following these steps, you should be able to install and use the HP Smart app on your Windows Server 2019 system.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
