Good morning !

I Have Printer HP LaserJetPro M428FDW and desktop computer with Windows 10 64 bit.

I installed the complete software Printer Full Software Solution 48.4.4588 dated May 18, 2020.
Now there is a new software Printer Full Software Solution 48.4.4589 dated March 17, 2021.

1, What should be my actions?

2, What are the benefits of installing the new Printer Full Software Solution 48.4.4589 from March 17, 2021?

3.Do I need to uninstall the previous Full Software Printer Solution 48.4.4588 from May 18, 2020 and install the new Full Software Solution 48.4.4589 Printer software from March 17, 2021?

Hi,

Software updates are provided from time to time, such as install flow changes, bug fixes, etc.

 

Generally, installing the latest software is always recommended, however major changes are not listed for the latest software:

Personally, if everything works for you with no issues, I wouldn't suggest taking any step, you may never know what issues you might experience during the install process and if everything works without issues, no real need to change things.

 

If you do prefer to install the latest software, you would need to uninstall the existing software first from Programs and Features:

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=hp+printers+uninstall

 

Once completing the uninstall, download and install the latest software from the web.
