Product: Officejet 6958
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have created a shortcut on the desktop for my Officejet but am looking for a way to pin it to the taskbar.  None of the solutions I have tried are working in Windows 10.  Any suggestions are most welcome.

I'm not sure what you did to create the original shortcut for the Printer Assistant.

 

The following explanation includes possibly more than you need - it depends on how you created your desktop shortcut.

 

Two sections in the example:

First, a method to create a Printer Assistant shortcut that won't pop open the printer webpage

Second, the simple addition to plant (add) the shortcut to the Taskbar
