Hi @WeimarJr,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
To place an HP Smart icon on your desktop for quick access, you can follow these steps:
Open Start Menu: Click on the Windows Start button located at the bottom left corner of your screen to open the Start menu.
Search for HP Smart: In the search bar within the Start menu, type "HP Smart" and press Enter. This will search for the HP Smart app on your computer.
Pin to Start: Once the HP Smart app appears in the search results, right-click on it. A menu will pop up. From the menu, select "Pin to Start." This action will place a tile for the HP Smart app on your Start menu.
Drag to Desktop: Now, go back to the Start menu and locate the HP Smart tile. Left-click on it, hold it, and then drag it to your desktop. Release the mouse button to drop the HP Smart icon onto your desktop.
Create Shortcut: Alternatively, you can right-click on the HP Smart tile in the Start menu and select "Open file location." This will open the folder where the HP Smart shortcut is stored. Right-click on the shortcut file, and then select "Send to" > "Desktop (create shortcut)." This action will create a shortcut to HP Smart on your desktop.
After following these steps, you should have an HP Smart icon or shortcut on your desktop for easy access to the HP Smart app. You can double-click on this icon to launch the HP Smart app whenever you need it.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
