I have just finished setting up my HP Envy 6420e printer and now I want to switch it OFF. I print less than 10 pages a month so I do not want to waste electricity even in sleep/eco/power saving or whatever the in phrase is at the moment. I cannot find an off switch and pulling the mains plug after every use seems a bit ridiculous to me.
Does anyone know how I can switch the printer fully off after use. It's that or I return it. Thanks

The on / off switch is on the back of the printer.
Just a heads up --
You might be disappointed -- the printer is meant to be left on in a low-power state so it can perform the self-maintenance necessary to keep it connected, keep the ink cartridges working, and complete the rest of the "mechanical" routines that are the printer.
We do not judge.
Yes, switch off any device you do not want left on.
If the printer does not care for the left-off treatment, it will let you know when you try to use it.
