Hi @tsorc,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your concern regarding connecting your printer through USB!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
To print using a USB cable on your HP DeskJet 4152e All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:
1. Connect the Printer via USB
- Turn on your printer and your computer/laptop.
- Plug one end of the USB cable into the printer and the other into your computer’s USB port.
- Wait a few seconds for your computer to recognize the printer.
2. Install the HP Printer Driver
- If your computer doesn’t detect the printer, download and install the correct driver:
- Go to HP Support
- Search for “HP DeskJet 4152e”
- Download & install the Full Feature Software and Driver
3. Set the Printer as Default
On Windows:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners
- Select HP DeskJet 4152e and click Set as Default
On Mac:
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners
- Click + (Add Printer), select HP DeskJet 4152e, and click Add
4. Print a Test Page
- Open a document and press Ctrl + P (Windows) or Cmd + P (Mac).
- Select HP DeskJet 4152e from the printer list and click Print
If your printer still doesn’t work via USB, let me know the operating system you're using (Windows/Mac), and I’ll guide you further! 😊
