I just installed a new toner cartridge in my printer and whenever I print something a window pops up asking me to authenticate the cartridge. This may or may not be necessary since the cartridge was in a sealed HP box, but I want to authenticate it anyway. I don't remember the password, and it's not in the app I use to save my passwords, but the cartridge was changed once before so I know I at least knew it at one time. How to I recall the password, or if that's not possible, how do I reset it?

Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
We have to perform an NVRAM Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hello @Elohi_NR,
Thanks for the continued support, but when I click on the link for the private message it takes me to the message where you're responding to mine where I stated I found the password.
If you send me the instructions today or tomorrow and I don't have the time to do anything before tomorrow night, I won't be able to do anything until 11/19 at the earliest.
