@bobinaz123,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query.

Could you let me know which shortcut you're trying to remove? Is it a desktop shortcut, a taskbar shortcut, or something else?

In general, here are some steps you can follow for most shortcut removal:

Desktop Shortcut:

  • Right-click the shortcut icon.
  • Select Delete from the menu.
  • Confirm when prompted.

Taskbar Shortcut:

  • Right-click the shortcut on the taskbar.
  • Select Unpin from taskbar.

Start Menu Shortcut:

  • Open the Start menu.
  • Right-click the shortcut you want to remove.
  • Select Unpin from Start.

I hope these steps help resolve the issue

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
