I bought a new HP printer and connected it to my HP Smart account, no problem.    But I tried numerous ways to remove my old HP Officejet 4650 from my account, including calls to tech support, with no success.  I would like to donate this printer and want the new owner to be able to register it to their own account.  Searching the web, I see that new owners of previously-owned HP printers have had problems with this.  How do I unregister it from my account?  The HP tech support person  I spoke with this morning told me I needed to factory reset the printer and gave me a number to call for instructions.  When I called it, I was told disconnecting from power would take care of this.  But clearly not, if old printers are remaining registered with the previous owners and new owners cannot reassign it to themselves.    Has anyone fixed this?
