Hello, I too need these reset instructions. Someone put an admin password on the printer, and we need to wipe that password away in order to get the printer on WiFI, set up scanning, etc. Also not sure why this needs a special login to get basic info (none of you has told us that), but would you please provide it? The model is Officejet Pro 9010.
Thanks.

@Carltop, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to make changes to the settings on the printer. We need to perform a factory reset on the printer to resolve this issue.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Thanks to Kumar and HP support for the reset instructions. I see now why HP doesn't want to advertise how to reset the printer, as it is poses a security risk. So to all those who need the instructions, being patient is worth it.
Thanks again.
