Hi @BelenJesuit,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To reset the administrator password on your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M182nw, follow these steps.

Power on the Printer: Make sure the printer is turned on.

Access the Printer's Control Panel: On the printer's control panel, tap the Home button (if available).

Navigate to the Admin Menu:

  • From the Home screen, tap Setup (it may look like a gear icon).
  • Select Printer Maintenance or Network Setup, depending on your printer's options.

Restore Factory Defaults:

  • Scroll through the menu options and select Restore Defaults or Restore Network Settings.
  • Confirm the action by following the on-screen prompts. This will reset all settings, including the administrator password.

Set Up New Administrator Password: After the reset, the administrator password should return to its default, which is typically admin or 123456. You can now log in to the admin interface and set a new password.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
