I am printing out patterns and it is not printing at 100%.  In other words, the 2 inch test is actually printing out at 1 1/2 inches.  The one inch test pattern is printing out at less than one inch. This makes the pattern print out at an incorrect size.   I cannot find how to set the printer so that it prints out at 100%.  Can someone help me, please?

Hi Colquitt97,

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "margin issue" issue.

To better assist you -

1) what is the paper type and paper size your currently printing with?

2)What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?

To avoid printing errors, the document margins must match (or exceed) the margin settings listed for the portrait orientation in the following table.

  • Windows: Click the Advanced tab in the printer driver, and then select Minimize Margins.

Refer to the document to Creating Custom Paper Sizes

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
